With bachelor’s degrees in Management Science and Nursing and a master’s degree in Counseling & Human Development, Gene worked early in his career on the forefront of one of the major health crises of our time, providing both nursing and counseling to people living with AIDS. He has developed and led programs for Hospital Systems, Managed Care Organizations and the Pharmaceutical Industry. Skilled in the business of health care, Gene has leveraged his 30+ years of experience, his creativity, passion for advocacy, and his executive management skills to create CareGuides, a unique organization designed to help people and organizations get the most from health care.
